Project Description

This project is Nigeria’s largest deep-water development to date. Water depths descend to 4,900 feet. The field is expected to reach plateau production of 250,000 barrels of oil per day by late 2009. Several companies are partners in the field that lies 68 miles off the Nigerian coastline.

Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Company, builder of the FPSO, selected Linco Measurement Inc. as the supplier of the custody transfer measurement skid. Linco Measurement’s ability to integrate (4) 12” turbine meters and prover into a very compact footprint was accepted by Daewoo as the most efficient package.
